Armadillos are usually not pretty. This piece is really what I was looking for. I like that it is a pin and a pendant. I bought it in honor of a friend. Sometimes one wants to curl up in a ball as armadillos can do or they can walk proudly with their armor. However you wear your armor, wear your armor! I bought it in sterling and may buy more in pewter for friends because they are more economical. I have made jewelry and this is a really good value for the price. Buy any animal and I am sure you will be happy!
