I really had to design some enamel red turtle earrings. How could I not? Turtles must be the most charming of all the reptiles on the planet. (For my money, geckos would run a close second.)
I almost got these in green, but I saw the red and thought they were so different. My birthstone is the garnet, and these do look like little garnets. My husband and I had a turtle named Clementine for years and years, and I will think of her whenever I wear these (for years and years). They're really fun and just so cute and well made.
